This natural oil brings out a more pronounced variation in the wood grain than other sealers and finishing products. Tung oil has a nutty smell and is a pleasure to work with. Tung oil is a popular choice for finishing Walnut and other naturally varied wood grains. It’s a good choice when compared to the various unnatural toxic alternatives. Spread thick or thin with a rag or staining brush and wipe off any excess, let dry and seal with our Tung oil/bees wax blend to complete the process.
Re-apply wax as needed over the years and your surface will last forever.
