Fish Creek Provincial Park

In 2012 we were asked to replace some existing benches that had deteriorated.
We made 5 rustic live edge benches. Each individual bench is unique and hand crafted. These benches were made from 100% salvaged wood reclaimed from the Porcupine Hills in Southern Alberta.
We built and installed these live edge benches for the Native Gardens at The Ranche in Fish Creek Provincial Park. These benches were made form locally salvaged Cedar & Doug Fir. They were custom designed to keep as much of the natural beauty as possible. We especially like the live edge look and the soft rounded corners are very comfortable. These benches can be enjoyed in Fish Creek Provincial Park today.
We volunteered a portion of our material and labour for this project. We wanted to contribute to the history of the Native Gardens Project. This historical site opened in 2000 and has been maintained by members of the Calgary Horticultural Society.
Refined Rustic Furniture makes custom furniture for indoor and outdoor use. We can process most types of logs. Once rough finished we work the material until its perfect. We carry many types of slabs and dimensional lumber to make pretty much any type and colour of bench. These benches are made of Cedar & Doug Fir but we can create custom projects from Walnut, Poplar, Aspen, Cedar, Spruce, Fir or other species.
